Our postnatal fitness services include:
exercise from 6 weeks Postnatal
Specially designed by Jayne Hume, the award-winning founder of The Women’s Wellness Coach, The Postnatal Workout is a weekly postnatal exercise class which has supported hundreds of women throughout their postnatal recovery.
The workout incorporates several exercise styles, including stretching and releasing, cardio and strength, conditioning and core and pelvic floor work, as well as post-exercise relaxation to ensure you exercise safely and effectively.
Every birth and recovery are different, so we encourage you to work at your own pace. For natural births, the earliest you can begin The Postnatal Workout is 6 weeks post-birth, however this would be longer for C-sections or more complex recoveries.
As standard, we will carry out a Postnatal Wellness Assessment prior to you beginning the workout. This will include a 20 min phone consultation prior to joining, an abdominal and postural muscle check and a pelvic floor screening form. Where we feel you need further help, we can refer you to our Women’s Health Physiotherapists who have clinics in Solihull and Harborne. We will also give you specialist advice and nutritional support during your assessment, ensuring that your recovery through our Postnatal Workout is tailored to your needs.
The Postnatal Workout is expert-led, social and fun – not only is the workout a specialised class with experienced and knowledgeable trainers, it is also an excellent way for you to meet other mums for friendship and support. With a supervised baby area, a specialist hands-on soft tissue therapist and expert trainers, The Postnatal Workout provides you with the opportunity to improve your fitness, socialise with other mums and enjoy your postnatal recovery.

Postnatal Personal Training
suitable from 12 weeks Postnatal
Our 1-to-1 postnatal training plans are tailored to your individual requirements, so whether you wish to include additional sessions into your week, return to a specific sport or have more complex issues that require specialist advice, we are more than happy to help.
We will carry out an in-depth assessment which looks at your birth and early recovery and assesses your abdominal and postural muscles. The assessment will lead to the creation of your own individual wellness plan which will focus on your physical health, nutrition, mental wellbeing and your ability to actively rest. The plan will also include online content for you to follow and is available both at the clinic and in the comfort of your own home, making our Postnatal Personal Training a personal and valuable service which caters to your individual needs.
The Active Workout
suitable from 8 months Postnatal
The Active workout is effectively our Advanced post natal workout, suitable from 8 months postnatal onwards, all the benefits of since being a core and pelvic floor friendly class but more challenging to keep improving your post birth fitness levels and recovery.
It’s also an excellent way to stay in touch with your ‘mum tribe’ of friends for friendship and support.
